A Korean chip startup's valuation quadrupled in months — and the K-fabless IPO pipeline is just getting started.
AIO, a NAND controller chip designer founded in 2011, crossed unicorn status at 1.2 trillion KRW (approximately $815 million USD) this week after posting first-half 2026 revenue of 150 billion KRW against a full-year 2025 operating loss. HyperAxel is in a Series B targeting 200 billion KRW toward a 1-trillion-KRW IPO valuation, with Mobilint, FuriosaAI, and Rebellion also in the queue. In commercial deployment, MasAuto is launching paid autonomous trailer routes from Busan port this August, and Novatech is expanding its robot orchestration platform across North American logistics hubs after operating 300 robots at Hyundai's Georgia EV plant.
